Ohio ranks No. 3 nationally in manufacturing jobs

Ranking third in the nation for the number of manufacturing jobs, Ohio offers apprentices careers that are quite different from older generations, the state reported Friday.

Ohio ranks first in the nation for glass, plastics, and rubber product manufacturing employment. It ranks second in the nation for paper, primary metal, machinery, and electrical equipment, appliance, and component manufacturing employment.
