A Michigan-backed clean hydrogen hub project could bring thousands of jobs to the state in the near future.

Winning up to $1 billion in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, the Midwest Alliance for Clean Hydrogen, or MachH2, aims to develop regional supply chains for production, distribution and use of hydrogen in truck and heavy-duty cars, according to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's office.
