Gas prices nationally and locally have fallen for 11 consecutive weeks and are at nearly the lowest price point since May 2021.

The national average price of gasoline fell to its lowest level of 2023 on Wednesday, to $3.188 per gallon, also the lowest level in nearly a year, according to GasBuddy, which tracks fuel prices. Nearly half of all U.S. gas stations have gasoline for $2.99 a gallon or less.
