West Michigan manufacturer plans 45 new jobs, $35M investment

By: Brian McVicar

Manufacturer Falk Panel plans to make a $35 million investment and create 45 jobs at its factory on Northridge Drive amid what it says is growing demand for its insulated metal panels for walls, roofs and cold storage units.

The expansion would add 65,000 square feet of space for a second insulated metal panel production line, and create a separate 24,000 square foot metal trim shop on-site, according to a memo from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
