Michigan offers Scout Motors $10M grant for Novi facility

Michigan will give a nearly 2-year-old company a $10 million Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant to support a facility for Scout Motors expected to employ 200 people.

Scout Motors, a Volkswagen-backed, independent American auto manufacturer headquartered in Virginia, is establishing a new research and development facility in Novi with support from the Michigan Strategic Fund.
