By Craig Mauger & Melissa Nann Burke

Michigan delegates to the Democratic National Convention voted overwhelmingly Tuesday night to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris to be their party's new nominee for president, according to four sources with direct knowledge of the decision.

Two of the sources requested anonymity because they weren't authorized to speak about the vote. Two others, Oakland County Executive David Coulter and Wayne County Commissioner Jonathan Kinloch, confirmed the vote for Harris publicly.
