Local company plans $20M project, seeks to add 300 new jobs

A manufacturer looking to bring its first North American facility to the Dayton region is seeking a tax abatement to bolster the development. The abatement will add 300 new jobs to an already promised 1,200 jobs and anchor an additional $100 million investment.

Semcorp Manufacturing is seeking a 75% tax abatement in Sidney over a 15-year period, according to city documents.
