Labor Day Report: Ohio workers wages grew, caught up with national median in 2023

Workers in Ohio finally came within pennies of the national average on median wages in 2023, and their pay outpaced inflation in the state, according to the annual State of Working Ohio report by Policy Matters Ohio.

The annual median wage — which is the mid-point of wages — was $23.95 in Ohio and $23.98 in the U.S. in 2023.
