Gov. Whitmer signs bills aimed at protecting healthcare workers on the job

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed legislation Wednesday morning that would increase fines for those who assault health professionals and medical volunteers.

The package of bills are designed to increase protections to health care workers while on the job, according to Whitmer.
