25,000+ Meijer workers ratify new labor contract with pay raises

Meijer workers across Michigan are getting significant pay raises and other benefits after voting this week to ratify a new labor contract.

More than 25,000 members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 951 approved a contract, which will provide immediate $1.50 pay raises, more paid time off, increased retirement contributions and premium pay categories.
