Manistee, Benzie county economies bolstered by outdoor recreation

A new study shows outdoor recreation is a boon to the northwest Lower Michigan economy.

The study was developed by Networks Northwest in partnership with the Alliance for Economic Success, the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance and Traverse Connect to examine the importance of outdoor recreation as an economic driver in the region.
