Brown announces first round of bipartisan Infrastructure money for Ohio

By: Bret Bevens

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown held a conference call Wednesday to discuss Internet expansion in Appalachian and Northeastern Ohio.

“To me it’s simple,” Brown said. “Every Ohio family, every Ohio business should have reliable, high-speed Internet. You shouldn’t have to live in a big city or a wealthy suburb to have access to a crucial aspect of modern society and one of the most important tools for development.”

Brown said that too many executives and policymakers make the assumption that anyone can get online anytime they want to.
