Governor Wolf fought to secure billions of dollars from the federal government to invest in our infrastructure, provide tax relief for working families, help lower health care costs and invest in education. But politicians in Harrisburg have been playing politics and blocked $2,000 checks for Pennsylvania families making under $80,000 a year. In Union canvassers in your community have heard from so many of you that these checks would make a big difference and help with rising inflation costs. Unless our state uses the funding from the federal government, we are at risk of losing out and having to send the money back to Washington, which could be used by another neighboring state instead. Pennsylvania state legislators haven’t done their part to provide our communities with the relief we need.
